What is StockAnalyzer.lk?
StockAnalyzer.lk is a comprehensive web application designed for visualizing and analyzing stock market data specifically from the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE). It provides powerful dashboards, comparison tools, and AI-driven insights to help investors make informed decisions.
Is the data on StockAnalyzer.lk real-time?
No. StockAnalyzer.lk shows end-of-day market data from the Colombo Stock Exchange. Prices, volumes and market capitalisation are updated every trading day after the market closes, so you see each session’s closing figures rather than intraday prices.
How often is the data updated?
Different kinds of data are refreshed on different schedules. Share prices, volume, turnover and market cap: daily. Every trading day (Monday to Friday) after the market closes. Valuation ratios (P/E, P/BV, dividend yield): daily. Recalculated with each day’s closing price. Dividend announcements: daily. New announcements are added each trading day, and the full history is reviewed monthly. Weekly performance and beta: weekly. Every Friday evening. Financial statements and fundamentals: weekly. Every Sunday. New quarterly and annual results appear after companies publish them. Company profiles and ownership: periodically. Reviewed and updated when companies announce changes.
How do I compare companies?
Sign in, open the Dashboard and tick up to five companies in the company screener. A compare bar appears at the bottom of the screen; select Compare to open a full comparison of their price performance, valuation, financials and dividends.
Does it work on mobile?
Absolutely. We have designed StockAnalyzer.lk with a "Mobile-First" approach. Whether you are on a desktop, tablet, or smartphone, you will get a seamless, responsive experience optimized for your device.
How do I switch themes?
StockAnalyzer.lk fully supports both Light and Dark modes. You can toggle between them instantly using the sun/moon icon located in the top navigation bar. Your preference is saved automatically, and signed-in users can also change it under Profile → Preferences.
